The Legacy for Children Foundation has been providing leadership for coalitions of children care services and agencies since 1997

The Remember Our Children Committee began in 1999 and is composed of a number of community nonprofit organizations brought together by the need to reduce child abuse and neglect in Central Ohio.The Legacy for Children was a founding member.

Your participation has been an important reason for the success of our efforts to involve the Central Ohio community in child abuse prevention. Those efforts have included developing and soliciting support for a newspaper ad calling on the community to prevent child abuse, the development of teen child abuse prevention projects for local schools and the distribution of committee public service announcements on child abuse prevention. Your ideas, contacts, and resources have helped make those efforts succeed. Those projects will continue to grow because of the many contributions of our committee members, especially The Legacy for Children Foundation.
